Paige enjoys math's challenges and excels at communicating mathematical ideas clearly, using language, analogies and drawings students can easily comprehend. Students appreciate Paige’s warmth, calm nature, humor, and accessible teaching style as well as the multitude of mathematical shortcuts, strategies, and test-taking techniques she shares with them. Paige is an expert at helping middle and high school students prepare for the math portions of the standardized tests they face, from the SSAT and HSPT to the ACT and SAT.  She has spent the last two decades working intensively with students attending the most prestigious middle and high schools in San Francisco and Marin, thereby attaining invaluable knowledge of math departments' curricula and math teachers' preferences and styles, allowing her to customize her lessons with the students she coaches.  Paige’s ultimate goal is to empower all students to tackle math problems, exams, and standardized tests with ease and confidence.  Paige's philosophy is that neither math nor standardized test scores should close doors for a student interested in a STEAM career or admission to a competitive or great-fit high school or college.  Math and a student's test scores should open them!

Paige graduated from UCLA in the top 3% of her class, with College and Latin Honors, and attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Post-Baccalaureate program in Classics. Prior to founding her math coaching business in 2003, Paige recruited engineers and designers for tech companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. Following her interest in storytelling and psychology, Paige received a Masters degree in Depth Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2023, furthering her math coaching and tutoring skill set.
